Another Late Blog

once again my bad habbits have led me to another late blog post. i really have to start doing my blogs on time. but that is not the point of the blog. in class we are reading novels. i have chosen a classic i am told. my brother recomended that i read a book called the outsiders, so by my good judgement i picked up that book at the library. once i started reading it the book imediatly grasped my attention.the first three pages of the book lead into the main character getting into a fight. i dont particularly like to read but for those of you that dont like to read this book will grab your attention fast and keep it. i have only read the first chapter and i can invision myself in the shoes of the main character. the setting of the book is discribed with such realistic and relatable places. i was told this was a good book and i am very excited to read and find out the rest of it .
this is the cover page of the book. unfortunantly the only copy at the gahanna library is checked out by me. but after the assignment i plan on returning the book so feel free to check it out. like i said i have only read the first chapter and im hooked.

"According to Ponyboy, there are two kinds of people in the world: greasers and socs. A soc (short for "social") has money, can get away with just about anything, and has an attitude longer than a limousine. A greaser, on the other hand, always lives on the outside and needs to watch his back. Ponyboy is a greaser, and he's always been proud of it, even willing to rumble against a gang of socs for the sake of his fellow greasers--until one terrible night when his friend Johnny kills a soc. The murder gets under Ponyboy's skin, causing his bifurcated world to crumble and teaching him that pain feels the same whether a soc or a greaser."
